Writing workshop for IIAB English Language Learners with Mrs. Lourdes Castellanos
These workshops are designed with a basis on instruction and discussion. Students identify and apply the steps for the writing process and recognize the three basic components of an effective paragraph, which is the main core of any quality writing. During the course of the activity, the Professor shares the guidelines, directions, strategies, examples and materials, and students identify, discuss, brainstorm, outline and draft paragraphs. Activities like this help our students develop writing skills that allow them to be more competent with written communicative abilities. They will continue to take place throughout the year.
